Dichroic Driving Lamps increase the lighted area of
vehicle high beams. Their broad beam pattern is especially useful on dark back roads,
dramatically increasing visibility up and down hills and around corners. Fifty-five watt
Dichroic Lamps, especially with Ion Crystal™ amber light, can be used as general
purpose lamps if aimed down to avoid offending oncoming traffic. Eighty-five watt Dichroic
Lamps are too bright for oncoming traffic and should be dimmed with the high beams.
