Electronic Valve Controller IV

The new EVC IV continues to represent the state-of-the-art in electronic boost controls, with the most sophisticated microprocessor and adjustment valve available. The EVC IV provides immediate push button selection of preset levels of boost pressure, plus a return to actuator controlled boost by switching the unit off. All boost selections and adjustments are accessible from the cockpit of the vehicle which gives the driver the ability to change boost pressures "on the fly". Aided by "fuzzy logic", the EVC IV also has the ability to learn your vehicles boost curve to reduce as much turbo lag as possible without overboosting.

The EVCIV atm has the following features above and beyond the regular EVC IV.

FEATURES:

• Capable of High Boost Increases -Adjustable up to 30 psi or 2.0 kg/cm2
• Digital Real Time Boost Meter - Digital real time vacuum and boost meter.
• Direct Boost Input - Uses digital display which allows for an easy input of desired boost levels.
• Three Mode Adjusting Feature - Low, High & Manual preset modes.
• Liquid Crystal Display - Three digit liquid crystal with multi-colored backlight.
• Scramble Boost Feature - Allows for added boost for a preset amount of time.
• Selected Boost Memory - Stores preset boost levels.
• Warning Feature - Warning light and buzz when higher than desired levels of boost are attained.
• Wastegate Type Selector - Can be used with External or Internal type wastegates.
• Serial Port Interface - External interface for future HKS products.
• Fuzzy Logic Programming - Actually "learns" the boost curve of your vehicle.
• Atmospheric Pressure Sensor* - Automatically adjusts boost for altitude and temperature. This feature can be turned on or off.
