The new 2.1 liter engine
for the Z3 1.9 (and all other BMWs with the 1.9 liter engine) gives driving performance
which would normally be reserved only far much more expensive sports cars. According to
tests by the reputable magazine "sport auto" (issue 8/96): ...the AC Schnitzer
Z3 2.1 races from O to 100 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 223 km/h."
The 3.2 liter engine for the 6-cylinder version of the new Roadster (and of course other
standard models with the 2.8 liter) achieves a torque of 333 Nm and an adrenaline-surging
191 KW/260 HP - something to be experienced. |
